First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
I’ve had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas
out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to
15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or
tips? Thank you!
Hi-Dorothy,
I meditate for 1 hour in the early morning hours before writing – and I meditate for one hour in the evening.
Meditation brings me great peace, contentment, and joy from within.
Also it helps me to concentrate, and center my self on writing.
Plus 6 days a week I make myself write, even it If don’t feel like writing.
Writing is like a muscle that must be exercised everyday in order to make it strong.
As for beginning – I have topics come to me during the day… and I write them down… and my thoughts around that idea for the beginning of the article.
That way I have lots of topics, beginnings, and the rest of the article I fill in later.
I hope that helps.
Your Humble Servant – Dr. Haider
