Mint Water – Mint is very alkaline and will do a great job of alkalizing your body. Just take a few mint leaves and smash them to release their oils and place them in a pitcher full of water. – That’s it! Now you have a great tasting mint water that will keep away aches, pains, inflammation and other diseases.
Ginger Water – Ginger Water has been around for a long time, but how many of you keep a pitcher of ginger water on hand at all times. Just cut up a some fresh ginger and place the slices in a pitcher of water and let set overnight… there you have it. Wonderful tasting and alkalizing ginger water.
Cucumber Water – Cucumbers are very alkaline and do a great job of creating an alkaline environment for the body. Just slice cucumbers nice and thin and add to a pitcher of water and let set overnight. The next day the water takes on the cucumber flavor that’s very tasty and will also alkalize your body.
Rosemary Water – Rosemary is very alkalizing for the body and will help with all kinds of challenges. Take some fresh rosemary and brew some tea with it. Take 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried rosemary and add a liter of hot water and let steep for 30 minutes. Then let it cool and put the rosemary water in a pitcher and keep it in the frig… it tastes great and will do your body good.
Lavender Water – Lavender is very soothing, relaxing, and also very alkalizing for the body. Take 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried lavender and add it to a liter of hot water and let steep for 30 minutes. Let cool, pour into a pitcher and place in the frig… now you have great tasting, soothing, alkalizing lavender water. You can also add a pinch of sweetener if you feel so inclined.
Chamomile Water – Chamomile is also very alkalizing and chamomile also tastes great cool if you add a little bit of sweetener to the pitcher. Take 2 tablespoons of fresh or dried chamomile and steep in one liter of hot water. Let cool and pour into a pitcher and add your favorite sweetener like unpasteurized honey, stevia, and brown rice syrup are also alkalizing… use very little sweetener. Place in the frig and you have great tasting chamomile water. You can also use green tea and make green tea water too which is nice and alkalizing.
Black Cherry Water – Black cherries are very alkaline and make a great tasting alkaline water. Take a handful of fresh pitted black cherries that are cut into small pieces. Place the black cherries in liter pitcher of water and let set in the frig over night and you will have a nice tasting alkaline water that you will love. You can also add a pinch of sweetener if you like.
Honeydew Melon Water – Honeydew melon is very alkaline and has a wonderful fresh taste. Just cube some melon or make melon balls and place them in a liter of water. Let set over night in the frig and you have a great tasting alkalizing water. You can also use Cantaloupe and Watermelon which are also very alkalizing.
Raspberry Water – Raspberries are very alkalizing and make a wonderful tasting alkalizing water. Take a handful of ripe raspberries and leave most of them whole and mash a few of them so they release their flavor. Now mix that into a liter of water and place in the frig overnight. The next day you have a great tasting alkaline water that will do your body good… you can also add a pinch off sweetener if you like, not too much. You can also used nectarines, nectarines are very alkalizing too, just slice them thin and add to water and let set overnight.
Black Strap Molasses Water – If you like something strong and sweet that will also alkalize your body try black strap molasses. This medium alkalizing sweetener will alkalize water. Take 2 tablespoons of organic unsulfured black molasses and add it to one liter of hot water, mix well, and let cool. Then pour into a pitcher and place in the frig. Don’t add to much molasses because it could upset your stomach.
And of course always use organic fruits and other items to keep your body healthy!
