“5 Foods to Minimize in Life for Great Health”

“We all have foods that we crave, and those foods are usually not in our best interest. And these 5 food – sugar, alcohol, salt, ice cream, and carbs should be minimized or avoided all together in order to have great health.”

Sugar – Sugar intake in the world and especially in the US has increased drastically, most people eat over 156 lbs of sugar yearly. That’s a lot of sugar, sugar which is doing harm to our bodies.

Sugar gives us a unique high that makes us feel great for a while and then drops us like a rock… thus we need another fix of the offending agent.

Sugar destroys our immunity by allowing the over growth of bad bacteria in the gut thus all probiotic or good bacteria which boosts our immunity don’t thrive. This can also lead to disease like cancer because our immune system is not working properly and also diabetes.

Thus a person starts a cycle of getting ill all the time… and because of that they start taking in more sugar to feel good again.

Sugar can leads to brain fog and because sugar is almost always associated with other chemicals in processed foods… these chemicals also create brain fog. And soda contains lots of sugar and low calorie soda is even worse… they cause cancer and diabetes.

Use Instead –  stevia, coconut sugar, agave nectar, mesquite sugar, and many other natural better alternatives to sugar. And please don’t use artificial sweeteners that are full of toxins and cause diabetes.

Alcohol – Alcohol can cause cirrhosis of the liver, is the cause of countless driving accidents and deaths, and has a profound affect on our immune system. Lowering our immune system so we eventually come down with some type of disease.

Alcohol breaks down into acetaldehyde which is a close relative of formaldehyde which is a preservative for tissues in laboratories and is very toxic. It actually becomes a acetic acid radical, and as with all free radicals causes DNA damage and thus lowers our immune system and allows disease to take over.

There are those who say having a little wine or beer does the body good, but the damage it does when not used in moderation is devastating.

Use Instead – Switch to fruit and veggie juice. Fruit and especially green leafy veggie juice with some carrot juice is absorbed right into the body and has all the nutrients the body needs to power up our immune system to keep us in great shape and health. Even the prestigious Gerson Clinics recommend veggie juices for great health.

Salt – Salt is needed in order to stay alive but too much salt like anything in excess, it is dangerous causing heart attacks, strokes, and the lowering of our immune system and other diseases.

If we lower our salt intake by at least 50% we can cut our possibility of having a heart attacks by 50%. – Amazing!

Also salt causes water retention, acne, swelling, diabetes, autoimmune disease, asthma, strokes, obesity, cancer, kidney disease, osteoporosis, dementia, kidney and bladder stones, and most of all high blood pressure… the silent killer.

Use Instead – Throw away the salt shaker and start adding spices to your food. Spices up your life with lots of great curry which contains turmeric, coriander, sage, cayenne pepper, basil, oregano, cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, paprika, onions, garlic, black pepper, and many other spices. These spice will do your body good.

A little salt will go a long way… so keep it to a minimum.

Ice Cream – Ice Cream is full of fats and even if it’s vegan ice cream and is dairy free it’s full of sugar and fats that cause lots of problems.

And lots of people have the ice cream habit, a comfort food that makes us feel good when they have emotional stress.

And dairy products are like a pink elephant sitting in the middle of the living room that no one wants to talk about because the dairy counsel is so influential. Diary products have been directly linked to prostate cancer… and no one is saying much about it.

And all that fat and sugar leads to cancer, heart attacks, diabetes, diabetes, autoimmune disease, strokes, obesity, cancer, dementia, kidney and bladder stones, and high blood pressure.

Use Instead – Have some fruit instead, or make a fruit ice cream of frozen bananas and strawberries – it’s wonderful. Just take frozen bananas and strawberries and put them in a powerful blender and blend and add a little bit of your favorite natural sweetener like stevia or agave nectar… and that’s it. Quick, easy, and very healthy!

Carbs – Carbs break down into sugar and the more sugar we have the more disease we have. Good carbs are found in the form of veggies and whole grains. But keep the whole grains to a minimum, too many carbs leads to lots of health problems and metabolic syndrome.

Metabolic syndrome greatly increase the risk of coming down with cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and other diseases including fungal, bacterial, and viral infections, gout, and much more.

Metabolic syndrome because of not eating right, causes increased acidity in the body, which in the long run causes inflammation… which is the precursor to almost all disease.

Plus not eating right causes colon bacteria to grow out of balance, allowing our good bacteria to be overwhelmed with bad bacteria… thus our immune system malfunctions. This in turn causes bacteria, viral, and fungal (candida) diseases to take over.

So minimize the carbs you eat… and have a much healthier life.

Also staying away from wheat, spelt, barley, and rye which cause gluten intolerance, celiac disease, inflammation, and new studies show brain fog and other neurological problems. And of course stay away from GMO foods that cause diabetes, cancer, inflammation, genetic damage, neurological problems, and birth defects.

Use Instead – Have one cup daily of organic brown rice, organic whole millet, organic quinoa, organic chai seeds, and other whole organic grains.

If we minimize or avoid these five food we can have a much healthier life and feel energetic and vital.
