“Kale and Hearts of Palm Vegan Salad Recipe”

“Here is a wonderful vegan salad that features the nutrition of kale and the wonderful texture and taste of hearts of palm. It’s simple to make, it tasty, and very healthy.”

Kale and Hearts of Palm Salad


3 – Cups of Organic Celery Sliced Thin.

1 – Large Organic Tomato Chopped

3 – Cups of Any Kind of Organic Sprouted Beans.

1 1/2 – Cups of Organic Kale Chopped

2 – Cups of Organic Hearts of Palm Sliced into Rings.

2 – Cups of Organic Garbanzo Beans.

3 – Tablespoons of Organic Vegan Mayo.

  (Grape seed oil vegan mayo is high in Omega oils)

  (This can be found at any good health food store) 

3 – Tablespoons of Organic Vegan Barbecue Sauce.

 (This can be found at any good health food store)

Salt and Pepper – Salt and Pepper to Taste

(Optional) – This would also be good with some organic capers added.

Mix all the ingredients together and serve right away.

Also makes a nice party salad.

Kale – Kale is great for the body and some people call it a miracle food.

Kale is full of lots of nutrients found in green leafy veggies that will alkalize our body… and it’s full of Vitamins, A (more than 500% of your RDA of Vitamin A), C (More than 200%), and B6 and K (About 700%) and also calcium, manganese, and potassium. Kale also contains iron for building red blood cells and preventing anemia and boosting vitality.

Plus it has lots of lutein and zeaxathin that are great for preventing macular degeneration. And Kale boosts our immune system, promotes healthy blood clot formation, and Kale is also loaded with beta-carotene helping to prevent cancer and other diseases… and it’s also anti-inflammatory too!

And Kale is part of the cabbage family… all of which contain colon cancer preventing nutrients. And Kale boosts our metabolism and helps with lose weight.

Hearts of Palm – Hearts of palm contains lots of potassium for water regulation and for cardiovascular health. It also contains lots of B Vitamins which help with mood and vitality, carbs, fiber for building probiotic bacteria in our colon. And hearts of palm is very low in calories, 1 oz only contains 32 calories making it a great weight loss food.

Hearts of palm is cholesterol free and contain lots of iron and copper for anemia, phosphorus and calcium for strong bones, zinc for boosting immunity, and vitamin C which is a great antioxidant that helps to prevent cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer. Manganese for enzyme production, and great Omega 3 and 6 oils that help to protects against cancer and cardiovascular disease.

And hearts of palm are crips and have a light taste that makes any dish better.

PS – I remember eating fresh hearts of palm at a waterfall in Costa Rica with little tree frogs chirping everywhere… Wonderful!

Celery – Celery contains apiuman, and apiuman is a pectin substance that’s important for bringing about the anti-inflammatory response in the body. Celery helps with arthritis and asthma, and celery contains natural COX-2 inhibitors which don’t have side effects like prescription drug COX-2 inhibitors. And studies show that celery contains androstenol and androstenone which boosts libido.

Celery contains lots of great antioxidants that help to repair DNA damage and prevent DNA damage. Also antioxidants slow the aging process. Celery contains phenolic compounds like those found in green tea.

Celery contains compounds that help to prevent atherosclerosis. And celery also helps to prevent inflammation of the cardiovascular system thus helping to prevent heart attacks.

Celery has the ability to relax smooth muscles thus helping to lower blood pressure and prevent heart attacks. Celery contains lots of fiber which creates a good environment for growing of probiotic bacteria which keeps your immune system strong. And celery balances acid in our system thus helping to prevent disease.
