“Easy Vegan Taco Pie”

Here is a simple to make and great tasting vegan recipe that’s sure to please and will keep a person going strong for hours, and it’s very healthy! Try this vegan recipe on the meat eaters in your house… they will love it!

Easy Vegan Taco Pie

Easy Vegan Taco Pie

Ingredients:

1/2 – Pound of dry veggie protein crumbles

3 – Pounds of Organic Potatoes Mashed with Garlic and Salt and Pepper to Taste

(Use 6 of the garlic cloves in the mashed potatoes)

16 – Ounces of Sliced Organic Black Olives

12 – Cloves of Minced Organic Garlic

16 – Ounces of Cooked Organic Black Beans

12 – Organic Corn Tortillas

4 – Ounces of Organic Tomato Paste

1 – Large Onion Chopped

4 – Tablespoons Organic Taco Seasoning

Organic spray oil of your choice

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Just a little bit of filtered water to make moisten the protein crumbles.

(Optional) – Add some hot chile powder for more spice.

(Optional) – Instead of potatoes use Yuca for lots of fiber and a different taste.

(Optional) – In between the tortilla layers at the bottom add a little more taco seasoning for more flavor.

Chop the onion and brown it in a little organic spray oil of your choice. Then add the veggie protein crumbles, taco seasoning, tomato paste, sliced olives, black beans, and 6 minced garlic cloves. Mix this with a little water until everything is nice and moist on low heat on the stove.

Next take a 9×13 pan and spray it with a little oil to keep things from sticking. Then arrange the tortillas on the bottom of the pan in layers. Next add the veggie crumbles in a nice even layer, then add a layer of garlic mashed potatoes on top and press down firmly to make a nice thick layer of mashed potatoes.

Then sprinkle a little of the taco seasoning over the top of the mashed potatoes for a little added color. And then spray the top with a little oil to make sure the top browns while in the oven.

Bake in a 400 degree oven for 1 hour or until the top is slightly brown.

Let cool completely and the cut into serving portions.

Serve on organic land cress with a slice of organic tomato on top.

Black beans contains anthocyanins which are also found in tart cherries, red wine, and pomegranates. Thus black bean are full of wonderful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents that can help with lots of health problems… plus black beans are very inexpensive.

Black bean broth contains wonderful nutrients that lower uric acid levels in joints and kidneys thus ending the cycle of joint pain associated with this disease. In Taiwan black beans are commonly used to treat gout. And black beans also helps with arthritis in general, sooth away pain, swelling, and redness.

Black beans are great for digestive problems because they contain lots of fiber and resistant starch similar to green bananas. And the fiber and the resistant starch creates a good home for probiotic bacteria, with nutrients for growing probiotic bacteria… thus boost immunity.

We should have about 4 lbs of probiotic bacteria in our gut, and at this time most people only have about 20% of that. That means we need to create a more proactive gut environment for growing good bacteria.

Black beans also help the cardiovascular system with soluble fiber to lower cholesterol, and anti-inflammatory agents that help to prevent inflammation in veins and arteries thus preventing heart attacks.

Black beans help to lower blood sugar and that’s great news for diabetics. Black beans contain proteins and fiber that stabilize blood sugar. Also contains lots of B – Vitamins that nourish the nervous system and thus improves mood and boosts vitality. When it comes to cancer prevention black beans contains 8 wonderful flavonoids such as kaempferol, nalvidin, delphinidin, quercetin, and petunidin, that help to prevent colon cancer and other types of prevalent cancers. Studies show that eating black beans prevents cancerous growths in the colon.

Black beans contains molybdenum which is important for healing impotence in men… and for detoxing the body. Plus black beans also contains iron and copper for preventing anemia.
