Here is a great tasting Quinoa Stir Fry that will delight the whole house. It takes only minutes to fix and it tastes great… plus it’s very healthy. Quinoa is high in protein and contains lots of great minerals. Enjoy this wonderful treat for lunch or dinner.
3 – Cups of Cooked Organic Quinoa.
2 – Cups of Chopped Organic Kale or other greens like Chinese Cabbage.
4 – Cloves of Organic Garlic Minced.
15 oz – Sliced Organic Black Olives.
1 – Large Organic Tomato Chopped or One Organic Red Bell Pepper Chopped.
2 – Tablespoons of Organic Low Sodium Soy Sauce.
2 – Slices of Organic Ginger Minced.
1 – Bunch of Organic Green Onion Tops Chopped.
2 – Tablespoons of Organic Peanut Oil or Organic Sesame Oil
(Optional) – Wasabi Paste – Just enough for a little extra zing.
(Optional) – Chinese Hot Sauce for those that like it hot.
Take the greens and stir fry them in the organic oil with the minced ginger, garlic, and green onion tops. Add quinoa, olives, and chopped tomato or red bell pepper and low sodium soy sauce. Get everything very hot on high heat… but don’t let it burn.
If more spice is what you like add some wasabi paste and some Chinese hot sauce at the very last minute.
Serve right away and it’s ready to eat.
Quinoa has lots of fiber and it also helps to boost up your metabolism making it a good weight loss food. But it also has carbs so eat quinoa in moderation. Quinoa contains about twice as much fiber when compared to all the other grains. Thus making it a good way to boost up fiber intake and create a good environment for growth of probiotic bacteria… thus boosting up our immune system.
Quinoa contains 8 grams per cup of protein which very good for a grain… thus making it a high protein. It also has the amino acids “lysine and isoleucine” which most grains don’t contain. Quinoa contains all the essential amino acids making it a complete food because it also has carbs… making it a good source of protein and energy for vegetarians.
Quinoa is higher in powerful antioxidants and flavonoids than almost all the other grains, thus it helps to prevent disease, slow the aging process, prevents and repairs DNA damage. Quinoa helps to prevent cardiovascular disease, strokes, and other diseases. And quinoa contains kaempferol and quercetin which are powerful flavonoids.
Kale is full of lots of nutrients found in green leafy veggies that will alkalize your body… and it’s full of Vitamins, A (more than 500% of your RDA of Vitamin A), C (More than 200%), and B6 and K (About 700%) and also calcium, manganese, and potassium. Kale also contains iron for building up your red blood cells and preventing anemia and boosting your vitality.
Plus Kale has lots of lutein and zeaxathin that are great for preventing macular degeneration. And Kale boosts your immune system, promotes healthy blood clot formation, and Kale is also loaded with beta-carotene helping to prevent cancer and other diseases… and it’s also anti-inflammatory too!
And Kale is part of the cabbage family… all of which contain colon cancer preventing nutrients. And Kale boosts up our metabolism and helps us lose weight.
