Here is a hearty meal that anyone will love. Full of the goodness of Kale and lots of meaty veggies that will warm the body and keep the spirit going for hours.
Ingredients:
2 – Cups of Organic Kale Chopped
2 – Cups of Organic Carrots Sliced
1- Large Organic Red Bell Pepper – (Place over an open flame to darken the skin and then remove the skin when cool… then chop.)
4 – Large Organic Potatoes – Chopped – Or other root veggies like Taro Root, Malanga Root, or Chinese Yam could be used, they all work well in this soup.
1 – Large Organic Onion – Chopped
8 or 9 – Cloves of Organic Garlic Minced – Use more if you like
12 – Medium Organic Mushrooms – Sliced
Enough Organic Veggie Stock to Cover
2 – Tablespoons of Organic Ground Annatto Seed –
(Gives the soup a nice yellow color)
2 – Tablespoons of your favorite spice…
(Cajun, Italian, or anything else you can think of that you like.)
3 – Tablespoons of Organic Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Brown the onions in the olive oil and then add the garlic at the last minute so it does not burn. Next add all the veggies (Except the Kale) and the veggie stock and ground annatto seed and spices, and bring to a boil until everything is tender. At the last moment add the chopped kale and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and serve.
Kale – Kale is great for the body and some people call it a miracle food.
Kale is full of lots of nutrients found in green leafy veggies that will alkalize our body… and it’s full of Vitamins, A (more than 500% of your RDA of Vitamin A), C (More than 200%), and B6 and K (About 700%) and also calcium, manganese, and potassium. Kale also contains iron for building red blood cells and preventing anemia and boosting vitality.
Plus it has lots of lutein and zeaxathin that are great for preventing macular degeneration. And Kale boosts our immune system, promotes healthy blood clot formation, and Kale is also loaded with beta-carotene helping to prevent cancer and other diseases… and it’s also anti-inflammatory too!
And Kale is part of the cabbage family… all of which contain colon cancer preventing nutrients. And Kale boosts our metabolism and helps with lose weight.
Garlic – Garlic contains allicin which in double blind studies has been shown to cut your probability of coming down with a cold or flu by 50%. But allicin must be taken in it’s natural form as fresh garlic. Garlic has been shown to lower blood pressure and manage blood pressure for long periods of time. Garlic has the ability to help you use iron more effectively, so if you are low in iron and taking an iron supplement also take Garlic.
Garlic can help prevent the accumulation of fats in the liver. Garlic increases bile flow from the gallbladder thus it helps to prevent gallstones and congestion of the liver. Garlic has been shown to heal away plaques in arteries… and thus help to improve cardiovascular disease, stokes, and other diseases. Garlic has lots of research showing that it can lower bad cholesterol (LDL Cholesterol) and triglycerides. Also helps to increase good cholesterol (HDL Cholesterol) and thus helps to prevent heart attacks and stokes.
Garlic is a good antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral agent making it great for preventing and curing all kinds of disease processes. One of the best all around preventatives for disease on the planet. And Garlic Tea is great… and it makes a wonderful tea for healing colds and flues. Garlic contains diallyl sulphide, quercetin, nitrosamine, aflatoxin, allin, ajoene, and more great antioxidants that slow the ageing process and protect your DNA.
