Pineapple grows all over the world now, and most people don’t know about pineapple’s great healing abilities including getting rid of pain, it’s great for inflammation, good for digestion, and good for creating youthful looking skin… and so much more.

Growing – Pineapples grow in tropical areas of the world including Florida, Central  America, The Caribbean, South America, the Pacific Islands, and many other tropical areas. Pineapple plants need very little attention and don’t like too much water, but like it somewhat dry with good drainage because they are in the thistle family. Christopher Columbus was the first to bring pineapple to Europe in the 1400’s.

In fact if the top of a pineapple is cut off and all the meat removed and scraped very well. Then placing the bottom in a jar of water… it will grow roots so it can be planted indoors in a pot in cold climates, or planted outdoors in warm climates.

Vitamin C – One cup of pineapple gives a person over 130 percent of their needed allowance of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that is very important for healthy gums, skin, for cardiovascular health, and for helping to prevent cancer.

Eye Health – Pineapple is great for keeping away age related macular degeneration. If your family has a history of macular degeneration pineapple should be a part of your diet.

Betacarotene – Pineapple contains lots of betacarotene thus helping to prevent free radical damage that leads to premature aging and cancer.

Lowers Blood Pressure – Pineapple is a good source of potassium which helps to lower blood pressure, regulates water within the body, and helps with cardiovascular contractions.

Cancer – Betacarotene also helps to prevent cancer… that’s why all the great orange fruits and veggies are very important for preventing free radical DNA damage and thus eventually cancer.

Immune Booster – Pineapple contains lots of great vitamins that boost up our immune system to prevent colds, flues, and viral infections.

Acne – Pineapple is a great agent for healing acne because it contains lots of vitamin C which helps create youthful healthy skin. Take a cup of crushed pineapple and add place some on a soft wash cloth and use the pineapple to cleans away bacteria and dirt. Then wash with warm water and pat dry with a soft cotton cloth.

Great Looking Skin – Take 1/2 cup of crushed pineapple and add one egg yolk and 1/2 cup of whole milk. Mix well in a blender… and apply to the face and let set for 15 minutes then wash off and pat dry with a soft cotton cloth. This natural skin hydration agent is better than all the products that can be bought at the cosmetic counter… and it’s very inexpensive too.

Green Juicing – Take 1 cup of chunked organic pineapple and add one cup of organic spinach, one cup of organic kale, and blend on high for 3 minutes. This is a great way to have those life giving greens… and have it taste great!

Lip Moisturizer – Take 1 cup of chunked organic pineapple and add one cup of organic coconut oil and blend on high. Place in a airtight container in the frig and use it as lip healing agent. Works great for dry lips and it’s very inexpensive.

Bromelain – Pineapple contains bromelain which is one of the best anti-inflammatory agents around. Works great for arthritis, joint pain, swelling, and redness associated with inflammation… the bromelian in pineapple is also great for sinus inflammation and for healing bruises. And bromelain can also be bought in capsules and tablets for inflammation.

Dandruff – Take 1 cup of crushed organic pineapple, one cup of organic coconut oil, and a teaspoon of organic turmeric powder and mix with 2 cups of filtered water… and blend on high. Take some of this mixture and massage into the scalp for 10 minutes and then rinse complete… great for dandruff. Store this liquid in a sealed container in the frig… this also helps create thicker and vibrant looking hair.

Nausea – Try using pineapple for motion sickness and nausea, works especially well for pregnant women who have morning sickness. Take 1 cup of organic ginger and 2 cups of organic crushed pineapple, and 1 cup of filtered water and blend together. Take 2 tablespoons of this mixture as needed for nausea… store in a airtight container in the frig.

Bronchitis – Eating pineapple can also help with the inflammation associated with bronchitis and asthma. Take 1 cup of organic crushed pineapple, one cup of filtered water, 2 tablespoons of organic turmeric powder, and 4 tablespoons of boswellia herbal powder. Mix well and take 1 tablespoon 2 or 3 times a day for up to 7 days.

Mouth Bacteria – Drinking a little pineapple juice daily helps to kill and prevent the buildup of mucus membrane bacteria… thus preventing the buildup of plaque.

Cardiovascular Disease – Pineapple is great for helping to prevent inflammation… thus keeping away inflammation that leads to clot formation and heart attacks.

Clears Mucus – Drinking a 8 oz glass of pure organic pineapple juice daily helps to get rid of mucus in the upper respiratory passages and throat.

Great for Digestion – Pineapple contains anti-inflammatory agents that sooth the GI tract mucus membranes, provides fiber for growing good probiotic bacteria, and  prevents constipation.
