“It’s Time to Move Back to Nature”

Dr. Paul Haider - 1It’s time for mankind to move from the cities and back to Mother Nature. It’s time for people to live simple lives and concentrate on living instead of just surviving. It’s time for simple pleasures instead of opulent indulgences… it’s time to live a simple life.

Studies show that when they take lots of rats and crowd them together, within a very short time they start becoming obese, lethargic, and depressed. And at the same time they started fighting and killing each other.

It’s written in all the spiritual texts that man is to live in accordance with nature… not in opposition to nature. Thus after a couple hundred years of seeing the outcome of industrialized civilization, with people becoming obese and depressed. And at the same time we have people going out of their mind and hurting people, that sounds a lot like the experiment with the rats.

It’s time for people to live simple lives, a life without all the daily pressures of modern live city living. A life where anyone can wake up in the morning and see beautiful forests, mountains, and trickling streams. A place where people can wake up and see miles of open green plains. A place where people can watch the waves crash and watch the seagulls flying here and there… as the ocean breeze wafts over the coastline and the fog moves in with a silent peace.

Many people are already moving away from big cities and starting families away from all the hustle and bustle. People are tired of all the obligations of city life, tired of not being able to have their children play and feel safe. With constant noise in big cities there’s no way to find true peace, or true happiness, and no true connection to our soul. People are tired of worry, tired of just having material things instead of filling their heart with the love and nature. And nature is one and the same as God, the Universe, and the One and Only.

People are tired of having chemicals in their food and water, and having chemicals in everything around them in their home. They want a simple life, they want a life where they don’t have to worry, living a life in touch with the pulse of the planet. And making a difference by preserving Mother Earth.

Wether it be the beautiful mountains of Montana, or the great vastness of Kansas, or the striking beauty of Alaska… people are moving away from big cities to find true peace and start a new life. Living a simple life in touch with themselves, the soil, and their children.

Perhaps Henry David Thoreau said it all with—“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” Many people have not lived, many are just going through the motions, many have forgotten the simplest of things… especially their true-self deep within.

The more man moves away from nature… the less likely man will find wisdom. What does man need to awaken from his slumber, and see that all that he needs is a very simple life?

The great experiences of people like Thoreau happen in silence, in the simplest of surroundings, in places that can’t be located on a map. I think John Muir put it well when he said—“Come to the woods, for here is rest. There is no repose like that of the green deep woods. Here grow the wallflower and the violet. The squirrel will come and sit upon your knee, the logcock will wake you in the morning. Sleep in forgetfulness of all ill. Of all the upness accessible to mortals, there is no upness comparable to the mountains.”

Man needs the beauty of Mother Nature to sooth his eternal soul. Nothing else will heal more ills than Mother Nature. Again John Muir put it very well when he said— “No synonym for God is so perfect as Beauty. Whether as seen carving the lines of the mountains with glaciers, or gathering matter into stars, or planning the movements of water, or gardening – still all is Beauty!”

It’s time to live a simple life!

It’s time for peace!
