It seems gastric ulcers on on the rise but we have natural ways of healing gastric ulcers without all those terrible prescription drugs that have lots of side effects.
Cooked green bananas are a great for soothing away gastric ulcers because they are a good antacid, in fact cooked green bananas are the best natural antacid there is. And green bananas help the lining of the stomach to produce more mucus thus protecting it from acid and ulceration. Thus preventing and allowing gastric ulcers to heal and green bananas are a very inexpensive good food. Just peel green bananas and boil them for 30 minutes and then let cool. Eat at least 2 cooked green bananas daily for healing ulcers. Cooked green bananas can also be used in soups and stews just like potatoes and also mashed… and they are yummy.
The mind/body is one thing and not separate and many studies show that when we get our mind all worked up about anything we start to produce more acid in our GI tract which leads to gastric ulcers. And that leads to a change in the good bacteria in our GI tract and the overgrowth of bad bacteria such as H. Pylori which takes over and makes gastric ulcers even worse. So it’s vital that a person take control of their mind by learning meditation to heal their mind/body. Taking either a Free 10 Day Vipassana Meditation Retreat which is totally FREE or learning TM meditation from a qualified TM teacher near you.
Raw cabbage juice works wonders for gastric ulcers and diverticulosis and for healing digestive problems in general. Cabbage juice contains sulforaphane that kills off the bacterial causing peptic ulcers (H. pylori). And cabbage juice helps protect the GI tract from gastric reflux. Cabbage juice also contains the amino acid glutamine which is very important for good digestive health. And cabbage juice contains iodine and chlorine which are great for protecting the GI tract from invaders. Drink 3 or 4 ounces of cabbage juice daily.
Pu-Erh tea contains natural organisms that come from the fermentation process which boost up our probiotic bacteria in our gut. This tea contains lots of probiotics and also contains natural acids that feed the good bacteria thus boosting up our immune system. Pu-Erh contains aspergillus niger, saccharomyces rhizopus, penicillium, aspergillus glaucus, and other powerful healing probiotic bacteria. Pu-Erh tea helps to sooth away GI upsets and it also lines the stomach with a membrane like substance that helps to prevent ulcers and irritations. Drink 2 to 4 cups of pu-erh tea daily.
Raw potato juice being alkaline is great for soothing the GI tract, curing indigestion, and helping with excess acid, and for healing a irritable gut and gastric ulcers. A true miracle food for the GI tract. Drink one 4 oz glass of potato juice daily.
Slippery elm is an herb which is made from the inner bark of the red elm tree. And slippery elm is one of the best herbs for treating all kinds of GI tract problems including gastric ulcers and intestinal problems. Slipper elm creates a mucilaginous balm for the GI tract which is very healing. And slippery elm is also great for GI gas, gastric reflux, and heartburn. Take 4 – 400 mg capsules twice a day.
Marshmallow Root is one of my favorite herbs, it’s very soothing to the GI tract and also for the urinary tract. Marshmallow root is anti-inflammatory in action and creates a soothing balm that heals the body. And marshmallow root works well for gastric reflux, gastritis, diarrhea, indigestion, and ulcers. Take 4 – 400 mg capsules twice a day.
Chaka Mushroom Tea – It has been found that those who drink Chaga Tea instead of coffee and tea daily have a much lower incidence of gastric ulcers. You can find chaga tea on Amazon and Ebay and other places on-line.
And most of all follow my Whole Foods Plant Based Diet – See Link – https://paulhaider.wordpress.com/2013/09/17/the-whole-foods-plant-based-diet-and-life-style/
Also remember to listen to your body. Not everyone gets along with everything in the way of natural herbs, supplements, or foods. Just like not everyone can benefit from some antibiotics and anti-depression medications.
Many Blessings to Everyone!
