“Banana Peels are Extremely Good for the Body”
This vegan banana bread tastes great and banana peels work wonders for depression, protecting our blood cells from degradation, they help with insomnia, and banana peels are full of anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory agents. Plus including banana peels in this bread really boost up the banana flavor… and this cake is super easy to make.
2 – Large Ripe Organic Bananas – Chopped into chunks and blended with water
3 – Large Ripe Organic Bananas Peeled and Mashed
3 – Cups of Organic Bread Fruit Flour, or any other gluten free flour will work – Bread Fruit flour is high in protein.
3 – Teaspoons of Organic Baking Powder
6 – Tablespoons of Organic Agave Nectar or Organic Honey
1 – Teaspoon of Organic Vanilla Powder
1 – Teaspoon of Ground Organic Cinnamon
2 – Teaspoons of Organic White Vinegar
3 – Cups of Filtered Water
A Dash of Salt
1 – Extra Banana for Topping – Split down the middle lengthwise
(Optional) – As the cake comes out of the oven poke holes in it with a sharp knife and pour on honey or agave nectar and let it soak in for added sweetness.
Take the 3 large bananas that are sliced with peeling attached and add the water and blend until nice and smooth.
Then pour the blended bananas into the flour, mashed bananas, agave nectar of honey, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, vinegar, and the salt. Then mix with a spoon, and if needed add just a little more water to make a thick batter. I usually get in their with my hands and mix everything together.
Then pour the batter into a 9 x 9 inch baking pan and press down a spilt banana into the batter on both sides of the pan. Then pop the pan into a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean or until the top of the bread becomes nice and brown.
Let cool completely and cut into portions and serve.
Serves 12 people.

A wonderful smoothie can also be made using the whole banana including the peel. Take one whole banana and add 1 1/2 cups of any kinds of nut milk, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, and a 1/2 cup of ice cubes and blend in a powerful blender until nice and smooth.
In Asian countries whole banana are cooked for a sweet treat. Some even cut banana peels into one inch strips and dry them in the sun and then steam the peels for a great tasting dessert. Remember the darker the peels the sweeter.
