Buckwheat is a seed and has been around for ages. It saved millions of people from starving during WWII, and it’s full of protein and antioxidants. It grows in Asian, Northern US, Canada, Japan, Russia, South Africa, Nepal, Tanzania, and lots of other countries. Buckwheat is very tasty, full of protein, contains 18% protein and18 different types of protein, it lowers cholesterol, it’s full of wonderful life-giving antioxidants, helps to prevent cancer, strokes, and heart disease. Plus has a low glycemic index, and lowers blood sugar. Buckwheat also contains lots of magnesium, helps to grow probiotics in our gut, contains resistant starch for probiotics, contains lots of fiber, and buckwheat is a good anti-inflammatory agent too.
