“Foods that Keep You Going All Day Long”
There are certain foods that activate the mind and make it so we can easily get through the day. They move energy to our brain cells and vital Qi energy into our nervous system. Here are just a few foods that I recommend first thing in the morning. This list could be very long but I have the main ones here.
Organic Goji Berries – Goji Berries have grown wild in the Himalayan Mountains. Way up in the fresh air where there is very little human activity. This allows for pristine nutrients to wash down from the mountains and find their way into the soil where Goji Berries grow. Goji contains complex sugars that are very important for getting rid of stress and detoxing the body. And these simple sugars are very activating and because of that perk up our nervous system and keep us going all day long.
Eat 30 to 40 dried organic Goji Berries in the morning.
Organic Berries in General – Blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, raspberries, and all the other berries are a superfood for the brain. Thus they promote the activation of the mind in a good way and stimulate brain activity… but in a good way. They contain lots of antioxidants, Vitamins, minerals, and so much more. Plus they are great for every part of the body and activate the mind.
Eat 30 to 40 berries in the morning.
Organic Longan Fruit – Longan Berries are well known in Chinese Medicine for calming the nervous system… and helping with insomnia and at the same time being a great tonic for building the body, especially the heart and circulatory system and helps with long and short term memory too. Berries are full of wonderful antioxidants such as polyphenols similar to the ones found in green tea and thus help to prevent cancer and other diseases and slow the aging process. And they activate Qi energy in the body to keep the mind focused and keep the body moving.
Eat one cup of Longan fruit in the morning.
Organic Yams – A study showed that yams contain lots of antioxidants that are not found in regular yams. Thus these little yams have the capacity to prevent DNA damage, prevent cardiovascular disease, strokes, and even help prevent cancer. And they contain lots of Vitamins A, C, E and more. And they activate Qi energy in the body.
Eat one cup of yams in the morning.
Organic Brown Rice – Brown Rice compared to White Rice has a lot of health benefits. Brown Rice is full of Thiamine, Niacin, Pyridoxine, Vitamin K, Calcium, Iron, Phosphorus, and Potassium. Brown Rice is rich in fiber, controls blood sugar and cholesterol, and works wonders for ulcers and diarrhea. Plus if you are debilitated it’s very easy to digest and contains needed nutrients for your bones, muscles, nails, hair, and teeth. Soak your Brown Rice in water for 30 minutes prior to cooking and it will cook faster. And it also activates Qi energy.
Have 1/2 cup of brown rice in the morning. And eat brown rice in moderation… eating too much of anything decreases Qi energy.
Organic Green Beans – Green Beans are full of Vitamin C which is a powerful antioxidant that helps to prevent cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer. Green Beans also contain lots of Vitamin A which is another powerful antioxidant that helps to prevent DNA damage.
And Green Beans also contain B Vitamins for vitality, mood enhancement, and energy. Green Beans have a lot of fiber which is important for growing probiotic bacteria in your colon which boosts your immune system. Green Beans contain potassium for cardiovascular health and water regulation, selenium for fertility, calcium and phosphorus for strong bones, iron and copper for anemia, magnesium for metabolism, and manganese for boosting your immune system.They also contain lots of live enzymes which are important for good health! Green Beans contain lots of different types of sugars from fructose to glucose and more. Some of these are very important for the growth of probiotic bacteria. And they active Qi energy in the body.
Eat one cup of Green Beans in the morning.
Organic Carrots – Carrots are full of powerful antioxidants that slow the aging process, help to repair DNA damage and create good health by preventing cardiovascular disease, strokes, and cancer. Carrots contain Vitamin A, C, and E which are powerful antioxidants. Being full of great vitamins and antioxidants grated carrots make a natural face mask when mixed with honey – very healing. Also taking cooked carrots or grated carrots and using them on cuts and scrapes works well to prevent infections. And because carrots have so much Vitamin A (almost 210 % of our daily needs of Vitamin A) they help to prevent dry skin, wrinkles, psoriasis, eczema and bring elasticity back to aging skin.
Carrots contain Vitamins A and C which are powerful healing agents, Vitamin K for clotting, iron, and copper for anemia, B – Vitamins for good mood and vitality, potassium for regulating blood pressure, Vitamin E for great looking skin and fertility. Calcium and phosphorus for strong bones, zinc for boosting up your immunity, magnesium for preventing osteoporosis, and manganese and molybdenum for enzyme production. Lycopene is found in red carrots (like that found in tomatoes) is great for the prostate, and anthocyanin which is found in purple carrots is another powerful antioxidant. And carrots are great for activating Qi energy in the body.
Eat one cup of carrots in the morning.
Organic Winter Squash – Winter Squash works wonders for staving off disease because they are packed full of lots of great antioxidants that protect you from colds, flues, cardiovascular disease, strokes, and even cancer. One cup of Winter Squash will give you over 18,000 micrograms of Beta Carotenoids a powerful antioxidant. Winter Squash contains Vitamin C a powerful antioxidant, lots of B vitamins for prenatal health and vital energy, magnesium for preventing migraines, tryptophan for getting a good nights rest, Vitamin K to prevent excessive clotting, copper and iron for anemia, zinc for boosting your immune system, potassium for water regulation, manganeses for lots of great things including helping with depression and strong bones, and a healthy dose of fiber to promote probiotic development… and thus boost your immune system. And they also help to boost up Qi energy in the body.
Eat one cup of winter squash in the morning.
Pick and choose which of these foods and herbs you want to use. You are not going to eat all these foods every day… mix and match and eat one or two of them every morning.
Sometimes we have to adjust our eating habits to have the energy we want… think about this.
Remember – Eat mind activating foods in moderation… eating too much of anything decreases Qi energy. And of course, always eat organic!
