Have you noticed that people who have a good outlook on life are lucky?
Are you ready for a better life?
Then it’s time to make a few changes.
1 – Take a Pledge to Listen to Your Thoughts and Change Them. If a thought comes up that is negative then replace that thought with a positive loving thought right away. This is a 24/7 job… and it does work… but slowly… changing our thinking from negativity to being positive takes time.
2 – Wake Up in the Morning and Make a List of Pleasant Thoughts. Make a list of good things that you want to accomplish during the day. It might be just enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or taking time to sit on the terrace and listen to the birds. By making this list you set the tone for the day… and thus your day starts out in a positive manner. And throughout the day leave little notes to remind yourself to think positive.
3 – Check in with Yourself at Noon about Your Thinking. When things get busy in the middle of the day check in with yourself about your thoughts. That’s when your mind tends to run amuck and with the hustle and bustle of the day… we start to think negative thoughts. If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts don’t feel bad… just make some mental changes.
4 – Give Yourself a Gift for Thinking Positive. When your day of over and done with give yourself a little gift for remembering to stay on the path of love and light. Perhaps you get to have that little bit of chocolate, or maybe you get to stay up one more hour reading that night. And it might be that you allow yourself to listen to some soothing music before going to bed. Whatever it is, reward yourself for thinking positive thoughts. Our mind loves rewards and thus we start to stay on the path of love and peace.
5 – Review Your Thoughts at Bedtime. At the end of the day review your mental map of positive and negative thoughts. Notice where you could have done better… and pledge to do better tomorrow. Don’t berate yourself for having negative thoughts… in fact, love yourself even more, for know tomorrow will be a wonderful day filled with loving caring thoughts.
6 – Say a Positive Prayer at Bedtime. Pray to God that He will help you think positive. And ask your guardian angels to watch over you and help you to think positive. And know that your guardian angels are watching over you… they are trying to help.
