“Break the Sugar Habit and Stay Healthy”
Sugar in large amounts and over long periods of time causes the body to be lacking in many nutrients that the body needs. That’s why it’s so important to break the sugar craving and do away with eating sugar in general. Eat fruit, eat veggies, and eat whole grains, eat whole-foods and stay healthy.
Sugar Lowers Vitamin D Level – Sugar lowers Vitamin D in the body thus creating a poor mood and lowering down calcium that is needed for strong bones.
Sugar Prevents Calcium Absorption – Sugar in large doses also prevents our bones from getting the calcium they need in order to strengthen them and prevent osteoporosis.
Sugar Limits Vitamin C Intake – Sugar can also slow down and limit the amount of Vitamin C we get from our food. And Vitamin C is a powerful immune booster and also prevents scurvy, creates healthy mucous membranes, and also keeps away colds and flu… those are just a few of the attributes of Vitamin C.
Sugar Depletes Magnesium – Sugar also lowers magnesium in our body which is important for enzyme production and also for a restful nights rest. And it also plays a role in the ability of insulin to do its job and thus lower blood sugar levels. So sugar is a real monster.
Sugar Prevents Probiotics from Growing in Our Gut – Sugar is the right nutrient for the growth of the wrong bacteria in our gut. Thus sugar starts an overgrowth of toxin-producing bacteria that lower our immune system, create depression, cause aches, pains, and start us on a downward spiral of bad health.
