“How to Make a Spiritual Life Plan and Thrive”– Here are a few things to consider in creating a life plan
Here are a few things to consider in creating a life plan:
1 – Make a Plan to Move Forward in Life. Many people never sit down and make out a 1-year plan, 5-year plan, or a 10-year plan. It is very important to have goals instead of just drifting through life. Writing out how you want your life to unfold creates “purpose”. And it also creates visions of creative adventures that will propel you into the stratosphere of understanding yourself. It is said in all the spiritual texts: “Know Thy Self” and “To Your Own Self Be True”.
2 – Visualize Your Plan Daily. This is important for it is said in all spiritual texts that, “What one can conceive and believe one can achieve”. The more you visualize your dreams… the more you believe in them… and sooner or later they will come true.
3 – Pray for Wisdom to Implement Your Plan. It’s important that we not pray for what we want… but for the wisdom to make our dream come true. This is the one desire that all the great avatars asked for “Great Wisdom”. Even King Solomon in the Bible prayed for wisdom… and he was one of the wisest men who ever lived… and he had a great palace and great wealth.
4 – Let Go of Self Fulfilling Prophecies. Let go of being a victim in your life saying that you can’t do anything. This is a self-fulfilling prophecy. As Henry Ford said, “If you think you can or you can’t… either way, you are right”. Have a conviction that you can achieve your dreams and let go of old ways of seeing the world. And let go of familial ways of thinking… sometimes a whole family will have a negative attitude towards being able to achieve anything. Strike out on your own and know with great conviction that YOU CAN.
5 – Action Speaks Louder Than Words. It’s all well and good to think, visualize, and also pray for wisdom but we also have to put in the work. Look at Stan Lee, he wrote his comic book scripts almost every single day… and eventually someone took notice and great things took place. Action is the Key to a Great Life!
6 – Never Doubt Your Plan. Never doubt for one minute that your plan will come true. Everyday have gratitude that your plan is coming true no matter what happens. I remember a man who had a deaf child who prayed and never had a single doubt that someday his son would be able to hear. And low and behold, when his son was 10 years old doctors fitted him with cochlear implants that allowed him to hear. And his father thanked God, the Universe, and Great Spirit for his son’s ability to hear like everyone else.
Use all 6 of these tools and without a doubt, your dreams will come true.
