The Word Vipassana

The word vipassana come from Sanskrit and means “insight.” Many different traditions have mindfulness meditation techniques. Mindfulness is a way of being in the Buddhist tradition, a way of being fully here-and-now in every moment we are alive. Being fully alive and aware is something most of us never experience, we take this moment for granted by letting it slip away into the past without ever savoring its beauty.
