There are two different and distinct types of intelligence, one is worldly in which a man is very smart and can figure out everything… and he’s a person who can create lots of worldly possessions. Yet he’s restless, never at peace, joy eludes him, and he’s always in conflict with someone or something. He’s very well educated and has an answer for every question that comes his way, but he does not feel at home in his heart… and deep down inside he feels alone.
Then there is the Spiritually Wise Man… a person of Wisdom. He has good judgement, he’s steadfast, and he has common senses that goes beyond education. He’s at peace, he’s content with is place in life, he’s full of joy, and never conflicted. He’s pure of heart, and all his joy comes from within, plus he never relies on anyone or anything for his happiness. He relies on SPIRIT to fill his heart with love, thus allowing gratitude to fill his life.
One man is guided by ego… the other follows God, the Tao, and the Universe.
