Toothache Plant – A Highly Prized Medicinal Herb

Toothache plant is a low growing large leafed plant with yellow and red flowers that grows in tropical regions of the world such as South American and Asia. And has also been used as house plant and ornamental plant in warm climates.     I chew on the leaves and eat them. It helps relieves menstrual cramps naturally and quicker than midol. The leaves have a salty taste and it mildly numbs the tongue much less than chewing on fresh ginger which also relieves cramps.
