7 Foods that Promote Feelings of Inner Peace

There’s a lot of tension going on in the world and in order to promote peace we must allow ourselves to eat foods that promote calm and peace within. Here are 7 great foods that instill a feeling of peace and allows one to feel calm even when life seems chaotic.

Chai Tea, even thought it does have some caffeine it also has lots of great healing, soothing, herbs that help one to feel at peace and calm down in the middle of a stressful lifestyle. And you can also find decaffeinated chai tea too which will relax and sooth even more.

Seaweed contains lots of great magnesium and tryptophan that promotes feelings of peace. You know the old saying about Uncle Bod falling asleep after eating lots of turkey on Thanksgiving well that’s all true… but with seaweed you have the best of both worlds… lots of great nutrients with very few calories.

Maca Root is a food that’s common in South American it’s used like a potato and has many great health qualities… one of the best being that it helps with stress and works wonders for anxiety too. At the same time maca will provide a boost of energy, balance hormones, and it’s also jam packed full of healing nutrients.

Oats and Bananas, this combination is great for soothing away anxiety and promoting feelings of peace. This combination produces melatonin and serotonin that help relax and de-stress the body, plus it also helps the brain produce tryptophan and serotonin that soothes and relaxes the mind.
