“Healing Asthma with Herbs, Foods, and Other Processes”
Lots of people have asthma and there are many amazing herbs, foods, and other processes that can heal this condition. Some for rejuvenating lung tissue, others for opening up the bronchi for easier breathing and more. Here are the ones I place at the top of my list.
Organic Turmeric – Turmeric is wonderful for boosting our immune system, plus rids our body of cancer-causing agents… and it soothes the lungs of inflammation and helps a person to breath easier. Take 3 – 500 mg capsules twice a day to build up your immune system. I have turmeric growing in the yard and making golden milk with 1 medium root and a litter of plant-based milk is a great way to enjoy your turmeric. Just blend them together and enjoy. Or you can use 1 1/2 teaspoons of organic turmeric powder in your golden milk. And turmeric is something a person can take forever because turmeric is a spice and a food.
Organic Japanese Knotweed – This wonderful plant if full of resveratrol which is a powerful rejuvenator for all tissues and also helps with anti-aging. In fact, I had one person with terrible bronchitis and I recommended they take a 1/2 teaspoon of Japanese Knotweed powder daily and their bronchitis disappeared the next day… Amazing! Being a powerful antioxidant this wonderful root can be taken for long periods of time.
Organic Thyme – New studies show that thyme contains lots of powerful agents that open up the lungs allowing for easier breathing. Thyme is great for those who suffer from bronchitis, asthma, coughs, and other respiratory challenges. Thyme contains thymol, carvacolo, geraniol, and borneol dilate bronchi for easier breathing. And using thyme oil in humidifiers helps with sinus and respiratory infections. Thyme tea is very popular and very healing, and it’s a great alternative to coffee and black tea. Take a teaspoon of dried thyme and steep for 10 minutes in a cup of boiling water and drink 3 times a day for 10 days.
Organic Coltsfoot – Coltsfoot loosens everything in the lungs allowing it to be brought up… and brings lung tissue back to life. Take 20 drops of coltsfoot tincture twice daily for up to 10 days. Take for 7 to 10 days.
Organic Garlic – Garlic is amazing for boosting up our immune system and healing lung tissue. Take fresh organic garlic cloves daily, crush them, cut them into pieces, it does not matter… take one or two cloves daily, and take them with honey if they are too strong for you. Garlic is one of the most healing foods on the planet… I recommend that everyone eat fresh garlic cloves daily and they will never get sick. And garlic is something a person can take forever because it is food.
Organic Nettle Leaves – Nettle helps to open up your lungs and thus works well for bronchitis, asthma, coughs, colds, flues, congestion, and COPD. Nettle was studied in comparison with NSAID none steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs… and found that nettle did just as well as all the prescription drugs without the side effects. If you suffer from swollen painful mucous membranes then Nettle will do the trick – works wonders for oral sores, hemorrhoids, sore throats, and inflammation of the intestines and respiratory membranes. Take 2 or 3 – 400 mg capsules twice a day for only 7 days.
Organic Elderberry – Elderberry juice is great for rejuvenating lung tissue and jump-starting the immune system plus soothing away irritation. Take 1 or 2 teaspoons of elderberry juice daily. Or take 1 or 2 — 400 mg capsules daily. Take for 7 to 10 days.
Organic Mullen – Mullen which is used for colds and flues soothe away irritation… and jump-start the healing process. Most people take Mullen as a tincture, 4 or 5 drops 3 or 4 times a day. Or take 1 or 2 — 400 mg capsules daily. I find Mullen to be one of the best herbs around for getting rid of the phylum. Take for 7 to 10 days.
Diet is “Super Important” for Healing Asthma – Diet is everything when it comes to the body. Especially removing lots of asthma-causing foods. Go on my diet and follow it exactly for the rest of your life… and you will see amazing changes in your asthma and your lung tissue… you will heal in a very short time. This is vital… without a powerful diet, lung tissue cannot change and become strong. And also, in my diet there supplements I recommend that will also help heal lung tissue. Organic Astragalus Root – In Traditional Chinese Medicine Astragalus Root brings energy into the lungs and opens bronchioles so we can breathe. Take one Astragalus Root 250 mg capsule 3 or 4 times a day for up to 10 days.
Organic Galangal Root – Galangal tea is very good for soothing away coughs and getting rid of excess mucus. Galangal root is a powerful anti-inflammatory that helps with aches, pains, swelling, and redness. And it also works well for arthritis, rheumatism, foot pains, joint pain, and other inflammatory conditions. And since inflammation is the first step towards disease… it’s very important to use anti-inflammatory foods and herbs on a regular basis. Take a 2-inch piece of galangal and slice it thin, place the slices in a cup of boiling water and steep for 15 minutes and drink. If using powdered galangal take a 1/2 teaspoon of powder and place in a cup of boiling water and steep for 10 minutes and drink. Drink this 2 to 4 times a day for as long as you like because Galangal Root is a spice and a food.
Hypnosis – Stress plays a huge role in causing asthma attacks and hypnosis is a powerful tool to help with stress and asthma attacks and works great for some people. Find a good hypnotherapist in your area.
Learning Meditation is “Super Important” for Healing Asthma – Stress exacerbates asthma so learning meditation is absolutely important. Meditation will make all the difference in the world and I have seen this over and over again with people with asthma. First thing in the morning after going to the bathroom sit down and concentrate on your breathing – breathing in and out, if you find a thought coming into your head, say to yourself “I will get to that later and go back to your breathing. Do this for 30 Minutes, this gives the mind/body a rest. Even during sleep, your mind is not resting it is dreaming and working things out. Meditation turns off the mind for a little while, and meditation takes practice and surrender to the process. We now know that people who meditate have good genes expressed and bad genes are shut off and not expressed- Wow – Amazing Stuff! Meditate for 30 minutes first thing in the Morning and in the evening for 30 Minutes. – It will do your body good.
