Sweet potatoes/yams are a staple food around the world and there is good a reason why. Sweet Potatoes are jam-packed full of great nutrition which is vital for enjoying life. Sweet Potatoes are full of B-6 Vitamins which is great for helping reduce inflammation and which also helps reduce arthritis, cardiovascular problems, and also strokes. Sweet Potatoes are also filled with a good amount of iron that helps your blood transport more oxygen and powers up your muscles, boosts your immune system, and also helps with stress. And most people don’t get enough magnesium which helps you feel relaxed and is important in the integrity of your blood vessels, heart, nerves, and your bones. And potassium is great for anyone with electrolyte problems and irregular heartbeats–you will find a lot of potassium in Sweet Potatoes. And you can get Vitamin D from Sweet Potatoes which is great for enhancing your mood and giving you a boost of energy, and build a strong and vital organ system. Bake them, mash them, grill them, make long strings out of them with a peeler and make Sweet Potato pasta–it’s great!
